What is BNI?

About BNI

BNI is a business and professional networking organization that allows only one person per professional classification or specialty to join a chapter.  The mission of BNI is to help members increase their business through a structured, positive, and professional “word-of-mouth” program that enables them to develop long-term, meaningful relationships with quality business professionals.  It does so by providing an environment in which you develop personal relationships with dozens of other qualified business professionals. By establishing this “formal” relationship with other people, you will have the opportunity to substantially increase your business.

BNI is the most successful organization of its type in the world today.  With over 170,000 members worldwide, BNI is also the largest business networking organization in the world. Last year alone, BNI generated 6.6 million referrals resulting in $8.6 billion dollars’ worth of business for its members.  Israel has over 50 chapters with more than 1,300 members, producing business worth 90.4 million NIS.

BNI only allows one person from each trade or profession to join a chapter, thereby locking out competitors. The organization provides a structured, supportive, business environment in which local business people can get together to network, learn valuable new marketing skills and develop the strong personal relationships that lead to trust and the consequent generation of significant business for one another. The organization offers lots of training opportunities.

Being a member of BNI is like having dozens of sales people working for you because all of them carry several copies of your business cards around with them. When they meet someone who could use your products or services, they take out your card and recommend you.* It’s as simple as that!

About BNI Anglit

BNI MeetingBNI Anglit is one of only a handful of minority language Chapters in the whole of BNI worldwide. It was established in 2010 to cater for three groups of people: new immigrants (olim chadashim), long term immigrants (olim vatikim) as well as anyone with a reasonable command of the English language.  Our membership at present includes people travelling from Zichron Yaakov in the north to Holon south of Tel Aviv, from Jerusalem, Bet Shemesh and Modiin as well as Ra’anana, Netanya and Herzliya itself.  Last year, our chapter generated more than 1.2M NIS of business.  That’s more than 45,000 NIS per seat, and we’re growing!

We share with BNI Chapters a complete spirit of professionalism harnessed in the concept of helping one another. Our networking meetings combine serious business with bouts of hilarity – the “buzz” has to be experienced to be believed.
